Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fountech OS Limited ("Fountech", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of TACTIC, including our website at tactic.science and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using TACTIC, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TACTIC is an AI-powered platform that provides assessments of deep technology ventures. The Service:
- Analyses venture submissions using artificial intelligence
- Generates assessment reports with scores across multiple dimensions
- Provides recommendations based on our proprietary methodology
- Enables users to share assessment results with stakeholders
3. Account Registration
To use TACTIC, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate, complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Credits, Seat Plans and Payments
4.1 Credit System
TACTIC sells credits and, for teams, seat plans. An assessment costs credits according to its tier: Preview is free and once per account. Screening costs 1 credit, Evaluation costs 3 credits, Deep Assessment costs 12 credits and Dossier costs 24 credits. Credits are:
- Non-refundable once used for an assessment
- Non-transferable between accounts
- Valid indefinitely unless your account is terminated
4.2 Payments
Card payments are processed securely through our payment provider, and invoices are governed by 4.5. By making a purchase, you:
- Authorise us to charge your card, where you pay by card
- Agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes
- Represent that you have the legal right to use the payment method
4.3 Refunds
Credit purchases are generally non-refundable. A credit purchase that would take an account past its credit limit is refunded for the credits it could not add. Seat plan payments are not refunded, including the unused part of a period when a plan is cancelled, a team is deleted or an account is deleted. We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds in cases of technical failure or service unavailability that prevents assessment completion.
4.4 Seat Plans
A seat is a person on your team, and the team's owner buys seats on the team page. Seats are billed monthly or yearly, from $19 a seat a month, and a team starts at 5 seats. Credits pay for assessments. Each assessment costs credits by its depth, whoever runs it, and a seat comes with no credits.
- A seat plan renews at the end of each month or year until it is cancelled.
- Only the team's owner may buy a seat plan by card. The team's owner may cancel the team's seat plan, and so may a TACTIC administrator at the recorded request of the team's owner or of the person who bought the plan. Seats can be added to a plan paid by card by the team's owner where that owner is the person who bought the plan, because it is their card that is charged, or by a TACTIC administrator at the recorded request of the person who bought the plan, charged to the same card. Seats cannot be added to a plan billed by invoice on the team page; to change one, write to hello@tactic.science.
- Seats added during a period are charged at once for the part of the period that is left, and the plan then renews on its own date at the new total. Seats cannot be removed from a plan on the team page; to pay for fewer seats, write to hello@tactic.science.
- A seat plan its owner or an administrator cancels does not renew, and the team keeps its seats until the end of the period already paid for.
- Deleting a team ends its seat plan at once, without refunding the unused part of the period.
- Deleting your account ends the seat plan on any team you own alone at once, without refunding the unused part of the period, and stops any other seat plan you pay for from renewing.
4.5 Invoices
- An account with a verified email address and no account terms can ask for a credit pack by invoice from the billing page, for itself or for a team it owns or runs as an admin. The invoice is issued at once and is due on receipt, and the credits are added once an administrator records the payment.
- A team's owner or admin can ask for its seat plan to be billed by invoice, and an administrator decides whether to start it. The seats are available from the start of the plan, and an invoice is emailed for each period, due 30, 60 or 90 days after it is issued, as agreed.
- When our payment provider reports an invoice for a seat plan as voided, uncollectible or overdue, the plan ends and the team keeps only the seats it is using.
- An administrator may grant an account terms to run assessments and buy credit packs on account, and credits bought on account are added at once. The assessments run and the packs bought on account are invoiced each month for the month just ended, and the invoice is due after the number of days the terms set.
- A team, or an account whose deletion would delete a team, cannot be deleted while an invoice issued on request for that team is still open; pay it, or ask support to void it, first.
